zabbix_agentd.tmp2

zabbix agent configured on RHEL 3.0, with LVM, I do not have /tmp/zabbix_agentd.tmp but when i start zabbix_agentd its looks for zabbix_agentd.tmp2 and gives error message, I created the needed file with proper permissons and restated zabbix with no errors. I am able to get the status from zabbix agentd, but from checks of read_ops/write_ops and network interface its giving " not supported by zabbix agent". on other RHEL 3.0 servers its running perfect with no issues.

Any suggestions, its a real head-banger of me ... Thanks to all in advance

Solution :

check the permission on /tmp it shld be writable by zabbix ;-)
