Maitenance Periods

There are many things which can cause that.

An idle question first, though. Were the triggers already alerting before you added the maintenance window? If so, that's your problem. Maintenance will only prevent new escalations/notifications from happening. If a trigger was already notifying, you will still get notifications even if a maintenance window is created.

At that point the way to prevent further notifications is to acknowledge the trigger and have the action defined to not send if acknowledged.

Barring those configurations, you'd need to disable the item or trigger.

I didn't have acknowledgements turned on, and the hosts I tried to silence were already having issues.
