What happens to the historical data after it reaches deadline?

    Hi

I have configured zabbix to hold historical data for 30days. My doubt is, what will happen to the data on 31st day? Will the 30th day data be lost and a new entry for the 1st day will enter into tables?

As long as the housekeeper is running it will store data who's age is less than the maximum storage time. If the data is over the maximum age it is deleted. The trend data is similar but different. This is generated by the housekeeper and is generated a few hours after the data is gathered. It generates and hour by hour aggregate of the data (Min, Max and Average). This data is also stored for as long as you set for trend data. The history data is only useful if you're looking at graphs of about 6 hours resolution or less.
