Migrate to DM setup?

I currently have a single server with 900+ hosts that is chocking, despite many db performance changes.

I also have 5 nodes ready to go.

So what switches do I flip to move hosts/templates/etc to the new child nodes?

And Please, I'd rather not review why I need to go this route, I just want to get there. I've read what docs are available, as well as threads, but haven't seen much.

Hi

From your post, I could make out that you have 900+ nodes configured on a single zabbix server which is choking your network/db and you want to move some hosts to another zabbix server. Accordingly, my reply is:
1. Use the Export/Import option to move the hosts/templates/items/triggers/graphs to the new server.

The problem is that I loose history that way. Is there no saving it?

Well, in that case you may take a DB backup and restore the DB to the new server...this way your history remains intact I believe.
