Hi,


How I can configure zabbix appliance on Opensuse to use web proxy?
Exported under root account http_proxy, but it's not helping.
Also I can't make su - zabbix. Why that?

you have to do that so that it is available to zabbix server. one way would be to set this variable in the initscript

Also I can't make su - zabbix. Why that?

Nothing happens Please, see screenshot.
Also inserted proxy settings using YAST, but unfortunately zabbix can not monitor web pages trough web proxy.
If I do "curl www.cnn.com" from command line then all are fine, but from zabbix web scenario it's not working.
Any help, please?

There is something wrong with created appliance! Somehow user ZABBIX is in inconsistent state. Deleted user and created again...all is then working even http proxy settings, and web scenarios are working trough proxy.

Hello together,
i have a big problem, in the Zabbix Appliance .... since some newer versions Of the applience some points in yast are away:

1) Proxy settings
2) Software Installtion / managment

why a this points away?

i have now no posibility to install software on zabbix Applience :-(

to install the Proxy Settings you cann install this rpm:

but how install the softwaremanagment, name of this packet?

thanks for reporting it, we will add those packages in the next version of the appliance. to install software management component :

zypper in yast2-online-update

I dont know why in my company i can install software over yast ( he cann connect to the repository)

but if aim using zypper it downt works ist a Company proxy ( "Forefront TMG requires authorization to fulfill the request." )

isue whit envirement vars "http_proxy=username:PASS@proxy:Port" want works ....
