Is there a method of producing any of the Zabbix reports in an other than web format. Can the output be directed to a file somehow at the same time it is displayed?

I worked on zabbix 1.6.8 and in that version...the only two ways to extract report are:
1. Copy the entire report and paste to excel
2. Use the print option to print the report and save as pdf file, using pdf printer software.
Is anyone aware of a better way to extract reports?
