Monitoring the zabbix proxy

How do you monitor a zabbix proxy? Are there any triggers if there is no new data in n seconds?

see in the manual documentation regarding zabbix internal item zabbix[proxy,... and trigger function fuzzytime.

in some cases function nodata could also be used together with the previous method.
