Hi
I have been reading through lots of materials and think ZABBIX may be suitable for the scenario I have in mind. The scenario is:
ZABBIX Server <-> Firewall <-> Internet <-> Firewall <-> ZABBIX Proxy <-> ZABBIX Agent Monitored (Windows) Servers.
Everything I have read suggest that this should be easily possible with ZABBIX, but the main concerns are encryption. So I am hoping someone will be able to provide some clear answers to:
1) Can the communication between ZABBIX Proxy and ZABBIX Server be over HTTP/S.
2) Can the traffic between the ZABBIX Server, Proxy, and Agents be encrypted natively - without the need for using external software workarounds?
3) Does the ZABBIX Proxy run only on Linux/Unix or is there a version that runs natively on Windows now?
Many thanks
