    Dynamic Disk Monitoring

I am thinking Zabbix can do this by looking at this:
    http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/.../advanced_snmp

I am trying to get disk utilzation(s) dynamically on my Linux servers. They all have "/" , "/var" and "/opt" filesystems but some have "/apps". I would like to have zabbix automatically detect the drives and add them into the "items"

I am using snmp v1 BTW.

    Is this possible?

You can create autodiscovery rule (like "vfs.file.size[/##SOME_DISK##/is.ok]") and create action for autodiscovery to add checked host to the template with ##DISK_NAME## disk.
"is.ok" is 1-byte file just for checking FS.

we've been looking for something similar.
our goal is to use the dynamic indexes feature for SNMP and apply it to any kind of host.
so, to monitor partitions on a linux server, it'd be passed something like vfs.fs.size['index','source',mode]. Index will tell what to look for in the source.
The source could be a command or a file.

Is it possible or must be achieve using UserParameters?
