Permissions issue, unable to see most hosts

Our zabbix admins have recently changed something and now I can only see hosts that are in a host group that I have access to.

I should be able to see to see all hosts in zabbix.

They don't seem to know why it's no longer showing me what I should be able to see and have said that I have "admin" permissions and should be able to see everything.

I'd look at this myself but I'm really only a "user" of this system and am not about to go mucking around with things I don't understand, besides, I can't see any place in the system where I can change permissions.

What I'm looking for are suggestions for what they can look at to resolve this issue.

Your account type is not "Zabbix Admin/Zabbix Super Admin", so you can not browse data from all the hosts or modify user permissions.

The only way you could solve this problem is contacting the Zabbix administrator.

I *was* able to see all hosts and as senior analyst I'm supposed to be able to see all hosts.

The admins don't know how to fix this.

I'm looking for suggestions on how they could do this.

They need to take a look at the user group your user account belongs to.
You don't necessarily need to belong to any of the admin groups, but whatever group you do belong to, needs to have at least "read only" permissions for the server groups you expect to see hosts from.

They can check this by going to Administration --> Users and identifying what user group you belong to, then examine what server groups are listed in the "read only" column. They need to be listed there in order for you to see them.

If you are supposed to be able to make changes to these hosts, then the server groups should be listed under the "read - write" column
