IT Services: Differences between "Last 365 days" VS "This year"

I know that this can be trivial, but in my case I can't see the difference.

He have deployed Zabbix some months ago (on March, this year) with our services and triggers associated to them..

Today, I went to see our SLA..
Take on mind, that we don't have any data from previous months (before March)...
If I look the SLA of our services during the period "This year", zabbix show values always lower than values during the period of "Last 365 days"..

Maybe it's trivial, but I can't understand why??

Thanks for any information on this..

    Easy answer:
I suppose that Zabbix assigns a SLA of 100% to days that don't have any data, so:
For "This year": The first 3 months of the year will be 100% because I don't have any data.
For "Last 365 days"" : The first 3 months of this year and the last months from the previous year will be 100%.

In the second case there are more months with a SLA of 100% so this SLA is betther than the other one.

    Am I right?

      Short answer : Yes.

Zabbix sets availability to 100% for periods it does not have data.
You can check that by looking to yearly availability report of any service : you'll get 100% for years 2005 to 2009.
