question on graphs - min, avg, max

    Hello,

I have a question on the graph for a data item. I'm analyzing both the graph and actual data from the zabbix secion "monitoring -> latest data).

I don't understand where the graph gets the min/max/avg values for a particular data element, in this case, cpu load.

When I compare the graph with the actual data points, it just isn't making sense. In this example, at about 7:15 the actual data aligns with the line on the very top, which I thought was "max". If that is true, what do the middle and bottom lines represent? The more I look at it..the actual data and graph lines just don't match. I've attached both my data set and screenshots of the graph.

If anyone can enlighten me I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Zabbix gets these data from trends table.
This table contains one record per hour with min/avg/max values during that hour.

Here is an example from my database:
    Code:
    select i.itemid,
           from_unixtime(clock),
           t.num,
           t.value_min,
           t.value_avg,
           t.value_max
      from hosts h,
           items i,
           trends t
     where i.hostid=h.hostid
       and t.itemid=i.itemid
       and h.host='srv1'
       and i.description='CPU Load'
     order by clock desc
     limit 10;
