Calulated items

Hi all.

I have been trying to get calculated items to work but I am getting nowhere.

KEY: apctotal
Formula: last(upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.1)+last(upsPhaseOut putCurrent.1.1.2)+last(upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.3 )

They keys are working and returning values but not the calculated item.
I cant see any errors in the log so I am wondering is key ever checked at all.

I have tested various keys and combos but still no data and no error on the log

It is activated on the template and the host. Still no data.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I have tried with or without quotes but no error no data.
I am beginning to think that zabbix is not even trying to check the item.

It should change to Not Supported if there where any errors right?
and I cant see any thing about this item in the log.

All Items must exist and have data (Numeric int or float)
upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.1
upsPhaseOut putCurrent.1.1.2
upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.3

When mark check box for this calculated item and press on Activate button.
When you can see this calculated item in log Zabbix_Server.

All these items exists and are returning values.
I'm really lost here

Monitoring-> Latest data with this Items?
What Zabbix version you use?

We are using zabbix 1.8.3.

This calculated item should be total of L1 + L2 + L3

Calculated item is created into APС Host?
You can use
last("APC:upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.1")+last("APC: upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.2")+last("APC:upsPhaseOu tputCurrent.1.1.3")
May be error in the register of the char in the key upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.1 etc?

I have tried to create this item with host as well same results.

I have tested.

last(KEY)
last("KEY")
last(HOST:KEY)
last("HOST:KEY")

No restults

If you use calculated item
last("APC:upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.1")
It is work?
Can you show screen with Item upsPhaseOutputCurrent.1.1.1?

No, APC is just the description if the item and not the host.
I have tested this with the host as I stated in an earlier post.

The strange thing is that no last check value is updated and
nothing appears in the log for this.

I even set the log on the zabbiz-server to 4 for full debug log and still I can´t see anything for this items.

I also have tested to create calculated item with other keys on different host and still no log, no data.

Ether I am doing something very wrong or I need to test this on another zabbix installation to see if this could be this installation.

in field Status

May by problem with key name? Rename key as upsPhaseOutputCurrent1, and check again.
