Freebsd server - no host status for client

Hello, I have a strange problem.

    First my architecture :
    Zabbix Server version 1.8.3
Zabbix agent on FreeBSD, Windows, Linux, XenServer

Since the version 1.8.1 of Zabbix server host status are not pulled.

I create a new host in zabbix server, i associate a templace with zabbix agent status item, the status is pull one time and after not. Date of the last check is the first check and no evolution. the status of the item is active but no pull and no error.

Upgrade to 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 don't solve the problem. Problem don't come from client because i have some different plateform.

the problem is critic because the trigger host unreachable don't work and i don't know when host don't work.

    somebody have this problem ?

is 'status' the only item you are trying to poll?
you need to have other items polling to be able to use 'status'. A note at: http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...onfig/triggers reads:
The ‘status’ is a special parameter which is calculated if and only if corresponding host has at least one parameter for monitoring. See description of ‘status’ for more details.
If you are looking for lightweight item, i'd suggest agent.ping.

No I have a lot of items polled, i use the default windows template and the default freebsd templates, so i have zabbix agent items and icmp items.
