NTP server monitoring.

Hi all. Could you share your experience about monitoring NTP?

I have two hardware machines which act as NTP servers (UDP, port 123).

I can't install zabbix agents on them or use default item net.tcp.listen[port] because it is UDP service.

Could you propose a solution?

Hi,

You can use an external script that calls

ntpdate -q <your_ntp_server>

and check result.
