unable to create notification for User medias

Hi,
I follow the exact instruction below to setup notification.

I already created a new user with the email address associated and login
as that user (zabbix super administrator privilege).

there are two issues.


1) if I select "single user", "send only to" has only one option "-all-",
but the "user medias"" only contains "No media defined" option.
how to have the email address listed?

2) If I select "user group", "send only to" has the option to use "Email",
however, there is no email address listed. so I don't know which user group and email address are selected for sending the notification.

Any suggestions?

In the Action Operations, where you see the 'Send Message to' [Single User], to the right there is a select button. You need to select the user in order to see the media defined for that user.

thanks. it works by clicking "select".

It looks that zabbix will assume to use the mail server in the local machine or
the mail server doesn't require authentication. The configuration doesn't provide the option to specify username/password/tls for sending out the email.

Right?
