    Zabbix on Windows Server

    Hi Guys

Is it possible to install the Zabbix Frontend and Database to 2 seperate Windows servers? I know the actual Zabbix Server portion cannot run on Windows, but is there a reason that the Frontend and Database would not?

The only reason I am asking is that we are looking at different scenarios and what setup would be best in the environment we are currently supporting.

If it makes any difference, monitored hosts would be around 500, with half of those only running simple checks for uptime.

There is no reason why it shouldnt. Apache and mysql have port for windows and zabbix frontend is just php... and mysql is, well just database...

I don't really see a showstopper reason why it would not work either aside from the potential WTF moments for packages not working as you would expect.
