Zabbix server won't start

Hello all,

We reinstalled zabbix beta5 everything went well but, the zabbix_server won't start.

We do:
han@Zabbix:/usr/local/bin$ ./zabbix_server

And nothing happend's

I hope somebody can help us.

some more information, such as snippets from the zabbix server log file, the system syslog file, os, version, etc. would help greatly in trying to determine what the actual problem is.

database updated?

i've had the same problem. i forgot to update the database. after updating mysql-database, zabbix_server started as usual.
