Upgrade 1.8.2 to 1.8.3

I read the manual but I am still unclear as to 'exactly' what is required to upgrade from 1.8.2 to 1.8.3 - is there a simple step by step guide. Also how easy is it to do a clean install of 1.8.3 and transfer all my data from the old 1.8.2 server?

So far I have a test server running 1.8.3 with a copy of my production database (1.8.2). Everything seem to work fine...

I want to make sure that I have nothing to change in the database schema before going further. Does anyone have knowledge on this?

Yes they do help thanks. The response "replace the web front end" is a little vague. The binaries are easy but I also read somewhere about a db script to run and some PHP mods to make.
