Can you describe your situation a little better? What is not working, exactly?

What exactly do you mean "unable to get the oids"? Do you get anything?
You should be able to snmpwalk hrStorage.

Also, you must have snmp installed and running on your SLES server.

I want to monitor the total CPU Utilization for linux server through SNMP , Can you please help me how to do that , Please tell me which oid i need to select

                CPU
percentage of user CPU time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9.0
                raw user cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.50.0
percentages of system CPU time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.10.0
                raw system cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.52.0
percentages of idle CPU time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.11.0
                raw idle cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.53.0
                raw nice cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.51.0

According to this link, the OIDs which say "percentage of . . " have been deprecated in favour of the other OIDs. http://www.net-snmp.org/docs/mibs/ucdavis.html

                  So, you can use:

                  CPU
                  raw user cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.50.0
                  raw system cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.52.0
                  raw idle cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.53.0
                  raw nice cpu time: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.51.0

If you want the total, you can monitor the above OIDS then create a calculated Item to give the total of all the above. http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/1.8/manual/config/items#calculated_items

                  MrKen

                        subba5678,

Please read your last post very carefully. Are you trying to monitor Memory or DiskSpace?

hrStorage has nothing to do with Memory.
