Monitor cisco routers use SNMP v1

    Hello,

I have a little proplem with Zabbix, I had a real quick question .
Does Zabbix support monitor Cisco router?

I want to monitor our Cisco routers that use SNMPv1, before I have configured success full use prtg. Help me! How to (step by step)?

    Thanks in advance.

The answer to Q1 is, Yes of course!

There are some Templates on the wiki, take a look and see if there is one for your Router model. If not, you could probably create a Template by using bits and pieces from some of the existing Templates.

    http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/templates/start

You just need to create a Host, and link the template.

Not sure whether the wiki Templates are for snmp v1, v2c, or v3. But you can always change that by selecting all the Items on the Template and changing the 'type' using Mass Update.
