do simple ping with no aget

Dear all,

I am new with zabbix, I can monitor computers with zabbix agent installed, but don't know how to do simple ping the client without having to install agent on remote system, any one know how to do that, i would appreciated if you could sent me step by step instruction.

Simple checks

Hi,

You need to create an item and choose the simple check type. And when you select the key, be sure to select simple check in the dropdown menu in the popup window. You'll need to choose the icmpping key.
