events on child node doesn't update 'last 20 events' on parent node's dashboard

I have a DM setup with one master and 3 children. All of the childrens' alerts show up in the master's 'System Status' and 'Host Status' panes in the dashboard but 1 child's (maybe 2 of them, actually) alerts never show up in the 'last 20 events' list. If I switch 'current node' to the child node, they don't show up either.

Any idea why this is happening? I checked the logs and everything seems to be syncing OK but I can't ack alerts from child nodes on the master's dashboard, which totally sucks.

looks like a sync problem...

I've checked the parent and child's database and the event that should be in the master's db is not there but it is in the child's.

any tips on troubleshooting?

nope... it was the upgrade that fixed it for me.

1.8.3 was a problem for me. It wasn't a true 'reinstall', I upgraded zabbix, that's all. The DB was untouched AFAIK.

My machine is upgraded to the last version

Did upgrading resolve the issue for you? If so, what version? I'm on 1.8.5 and having the same issue.
