    Distributed Monitoring Question

    Hi,

i setup DM with 2 Nodes.

But if i setup someting on the child node via the master node, the changes arrives on the child about one hour later.
And since yesterday, there are no changes synced from the master to the child.

Is there anything else needed than tcp 10051 between master and child?

    Cheers

    Oliver

I wonder what OS and db you are using for the master and child nodes. Could you provide more information, please?

Did you check your log files on both machines?

        Hi Oliver,

Actually comunication between NODES will be one way only (Slave to Master).

What your log files (Master and Slave) say about ?

          OS both debian 5.04
Log files are not realy helpfull, or i just checked the false one
          looked under /var/log/zabbix-server

Our firewall permits traffic on tcp 10051 in both ways, so test telnet sessions are also successfull.

What log file entries should be shown in this failure case?

          cheers

          Oliver
