Alert sending and host pinging stops after some time.
Hello everybody !
I've instaled zabbix for the first time and configured it for some of hosts (11).
1 host simple check - pop
2 hosts simple check icmppingsec
other 8 hosts equipped with zabbix_agentd
I have troubles with pinging. Just after adding an icmppingsec item, I see two or four values coming, and then silence... Restart zabbix_serverd - again some values and then silence. Could someone point out what should I look for in zabbix_server.log ? The same situation with icmpping.
Another problem is email sending. At some point (after successfully sended 10 or so e-mails), all notifications comes with status not sent. Pretty strange...
There is no SENDING MAIL debug lines in zabbix_server.log. After zabbix_server restart, all unsent messages magically becomes sent, and I receive a bunch of e-mails. Again, please let me know where to find a reason for such a strange behaviour.
zabbix version: 1.1beta5.
