How to compile Windows agent for version 1.8.4rc3?

    Dear all,

I would like to give Zabbix a try, however one of the features I really need is the ability to monitor NTLM websites, a feature that's only available in not-yet-released 1.8.4 - the latest stable release does not have it.

I'm fine with using 1.8.4rc3 for test purposes, but I really need a Windows agent - and precompiled ones are only available for 1.8.3.

Is there any documentation on how to compile a Windows agent (for 1.8.4rc3)? Alternatively, would precompiled 1.8.3 Windows agent work with 1.8.4rc server?

    Kind regards,
    Tomasz

Web monitoring (with NTLM autentification in 1.8.4) it is server side future. So agent has nothing to do with that.

Get it from the svn repository or Nightly Builds if you actually need. Developers periodically compile the agent for windows. Last compilation 23.12.2010

    Compilation.
    Some instruction from developers:

    Yes of course.
I can not find the link where it is described. Older agents work fine with the new server. It's official information.
