First, your question has been answered in several other threads. If you used the search function you'd probably have discovered this.

So, to re-iterate what's in several other threads, if you're trying to prevent pages for items in maintenance you need to add criteria to your notification Action to that effect. The actual line would read:

            Maintenance status not in "maintenance"

This will prevent notifications for items which are in maintenance.

Second, whining will win you no friends. Frequent bumps the same. Comparisons to Nagios are right out.

If at first you don't get a response, dig deeper. The answer may already exist.

this threads i have already read and this doesn't works.
if the maintenance is over, but the host is already down, i don't get a notification.

the comparison with nagios-portal was only a little provocation :P
              first i use everytime the search-function ;-)

So the scenario you're presenting is:
                  1. Maintenance window starts, e.g. 3am
                  2. Host goes down for maintenance, e.g. 3:05am
                  3. Maintenance window ends, e.g. 4am
                  4. Host still down when maintenance window ends, e.g. 4am
                  5. No alerts or escalations occur even though the host is down.

A few ideas cross my mind, if this is true. Is your maintenance window with or without data collection? If without, it is as though your host has been disabled. Have you checked to see if data is coming in again on the Latest Data page after the window is over? If you are receiving data, are your trigger conditions such that they will see this correctly?

Then the next question is about the actual data collected. Was the maintenance affecting it? Could you post your maintenance rule and maintenance window configuration?

What about the triggers you expect to see (with the item timings and configuration).

watch my config in the attachments.

i saw behind the trigger that the maintenance was active.

Try adding trigger value = problem to the action

this i've already tried without a improvement
it looks like a bug or an error in my database/ zabbix installation
