Please, help with tcp,port

Trying to configure monitoring of some ports using tcp,port, but in any case receive 0.
For example, I have a host with ssh server. I collect item ssh and it is always 1. If I add tcp,22 it is allways 0.
The same with http and tcp,80 - http=1, tcp,80=0.
I need to monitor telnet (21) and http at 8080 port, so I think tcp,21 and tcp,8080 should be used. But again they allways 0.
Where to find the solution for this ?
