    Zabbix Monitoring

    Hello,

I hope someone can answer the next question in detail or knows what of this topic

An office-type printers Hewlett-Packard HP LaserJet P2055n should be involved in the Zabbix monitoring.
The printer is operational and already can be reached through the network

Question: What steps are necessary to the printer and on the Zabbix server to integrate the unit into the monitoring?

For a plausible answer I'd be really grateful

    Greetings Alex

    hello,
Try to add the host (printer) first, after link the template "Template_HP_ColorLaserJet" to the host, go to "latest data" tab and see what items are supported by the printer.
If you need some special monitorization about it, you can make an snmpwalk to it.
    snmpwalk -v2c -c <snmp-comunity> <Printer-IP>
And look forward the results to find the oid you need.
    Hope this helps.
Number of hosts 1600,Number of items +90k,Number of triggers +22k, Number of users +100, New values per second +1270

Where can i find the "latest data" tab?

It is a question from a questionnaire, which i have to answer as good as possible.
Unfortunately I have not heard anything yet about zabbix server or zabbix monitoring

      thank you!

Make sure that snmp is enabled first on your printer before trying to monitor.
