    Action resending.

    Hello, as our monitored enviroment manpowers are not unlimited for all support team members we are kind and we are not sending error messages during the nigth time. And my problem comes up in this moment.
    Sometimes there is situation when something goes down during the time when is not being sent alerts nobody knows until we are alerted from the staff.

    Is there possibilities how to define recheck of all systems about what we are sending alert at the specific time? Is there used triggers?
    What is meaning of maintenance period? When it's over the trigers is gone in to error state goes do the recheck and if needed do the allert?

    Your answer is not in alerts, but in the individual user's media type settings.

    They can receive alerts on the MTWTFSS, 00:00-23:59, NIWAHD
    You basically need to set these so the users in question are not receiving alerts after hours, but you are.

    This can be done for any media type, be it custom script, email, SMS, jabber, etc.

      Ok, although I understand your point of view. But I am starting to think that it's Zabbix bug, not just my imagination.

      Let's forget what I said before. I will tell my scenario.

      I have maintenance period defined for specific host groups (with data collection).

      So if the problems occurs during this night time period after the maintenance period the triggers won't start. Nothing changes.

      Maybe there is possibility for this issue workaround?
