Hi !
I would like to use a macro to change snmp community.
But I have problems.
First I wanted to make a simple check, if it would work.
I made a new item with setting the macro value: {$CONSTRING} -> public
After I entered the same host item menu, created an snmpv1 query, and at the SNMP community field i wrote: {$CONSTRING} .
But unfortunatelly in the zabbix log i saw timeout, the values did not update.
The equipment is a switch, i can ping, and snmpwalk is working.
What is the problem ?
