disk usage show GB but need TB

    hi all

i've setup disk usage monitoring for a mounted 2TB nfs partition.

Unfortunately the graphs show the figure as 2GB, i added the multipler of 1024 but again, the graphs are not updating and are listed the disk usage on the nfs partition in GB.

any suggestions as to how one might go about fixing this ?

    just the opposite

    Hi,

In my case the problem is just the opposite. We´ve recently upgraded to 1.8.3 from 1.6.7 and the disks size is now shown in TB instead of GB, as it used to be.

We had setup a multiplier of 1024. Once deactivated the GB came back but all the triggers fired up. Sample:

    2011.Feb.02 15:36:14 6240772030464
    2011.Feb.02 15:33:45 6240772030464
    2011.Feb.02 15:31:14 6240772030464
    2011.Feb.02 15:28:45 6094503936
    2011.Feb.02 15:26:14 6094503936

    The trigger definition:

    vfs.fs.size[/home,free].last(0)}<1000000000

This trigger, and all the others like this one, fired up, showing the value of last check as MB.....

    Any idea why this happen?.

      http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...tion/upgrading

Key vfs.fs.size returns data in bytes for all operating systems now.

I had the same problem a few months ago and I had to change the check frequency to 5 seconds just to make the item to update; you can also check the value reported from command line:
      # zabbix_get -sIP_HOST_TO_CHECK -k "key[opts]"
      Ex:
      # zabbix_get -s127.0.0.1 -k "net.if.in[eth0,bytes]"
