I think you need to supply an OID to look at for this to work...
    With kind regards,

realy?! we have different snmp-devices.. like printer, scanner, switches, temp-sensors, etc.

i was thinking that zabbix scan automaticly the network and snmp-devices

It can, but you will need to differentiate between the various devices to be able to link the correct templates/device groups auto-magically.

Fetch an OID that returns some device information so you can use it in your actions to add hosts to the system with the correct templates.

i'll be happy when zabbix find some devices by snmp. i wouldn´t link to templates or somthing like that..

only find snmp-devices nothing more.. but it doesn´t work

In that case just use the System uptime OID.

                and how is the OID??

                i thought zabbix scan ala
                Code:
                snmpwalk IP -v1 -c public
                snmpwalk IP -v2c -c public
and then will show in discovery.. after this i can add the snmp-device to zabbix

Doing a SNMP walk on every ip adres in your network would be a bad idea.
Zabbix will happily manage your hosts if you supply the correct rules.

If you don't like it, don't use Discovery or supply a generic OID to test for SNMP capabilities.
