Interested in hearing from Red Hat users

I'm working on an internal whitepaper on Zabbix and I'm interested in hearing from folks who run both Zabbix and Red Hat Linux or using Zabbix to monitor JBoss. Epic win would be using Zabbix to monitor your JBoss app on RHEL. Unfortunately I am not interested in the RHEL derivatives such as CentOS or Scientific Linux as they do not help my cause. If you would rather not reply to the thread please feel free to send me a private message.

    Thanks in advance.

We're deploying RHEL on to several JBOSS servers now and use RHEL 5 for our Zabbix servers. I'd be very interested in information sharing.

I've created some decent templates so far for monitoring JBOSS mbeans as well as the java.lang mbeans via zapcat.

I've been running zabbix on RHEL since 1.2

We just started using zapcat. Actually one of our Java developers made some modifications to the zapcat code to improve performance and is in the process of implementing throughout our enterprise...

He is pleases with its results... Granted, he said it will not get as granular as introscope but it does give a lot of great metrics
