    Assigning triggers to group?

    Hi,

I have created a template called _Monitored_Sites and added a few simple checks under items. I have then linked this template to a host entry with the domain name of the website I want to monitor. This has copied the items from the template to the host, and it collects data successfully.

How can I add triggers to the template, and apply them to all the hosts in the group? When I create a trigger in the template it doesn't copy to the hosts in the group.

    Thanks!

I have the exact same question. I have a huge tree of items in various groups for various kinds of hosts. Groups of groups of groups sort of thing and want to achieve the exact same result.

How to apply a trigger to a group. How to write the expression?

    Please as example.....

    GROUP_FOO with members HOST1, HOST2.

    Item by example.....

    {agent.ping:last(0)}=1

What is the syntax for creating a trigger in the configuration GUI which can applied to GROUP_FOO (and therefore to HOST1, HOST2). The manual shows polling two different hosts in 1 trigger, but not a generic group trigger.

There is no such thing as Group Trigger in ZABBIX. All triggers work on item level.
