    Graph scaling problem?

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious but I've just noticed the following behaviour on graphs (not simple graphs).

If I view recent data over say the last few hours, everything displays correctly. Specifically, the highest point on the graph matches the 'max' value shown under the graph.

However if I extend the graph to show the last 2 days data, the scale changes and the top of the graph no longer matches the max value in that time period.

I've noticed it on a couple of graphs I've created, and I can't see anything wrong with the way they are set up. Both x and y are set to 'calculated' in the graph setup.

graph1 shows the correct view of the last 15 hours, graph2 shows the last 2 days with what appears to be the wrong scale. The same data viewed as a simple graph through latest data doesn't have this problem.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks
    Rob

I may be wrong, but it is probably because your lines are displaying the averages. You can set the lines to display min, max or average. Your text values at the bottom of the graphs show what each value is from the period you are viewing, but the line can only show one of the 3.

When you start expanding your time period, the averages flatten the lines and they won't match the max values during that period.

Thanks, I knew I was missing something. Is there a good expaination of the min, max, avg functions? There doesn't appear to be anything on the graphs page in the manual.

      Thanks again!
