    No data since 22h00 ...

    Please bear with me as I am a new Zabbix user.

    Last night one Win2000 server stopped sending any kind of data to the zabbix server, yet the Zabbix dashboard shows no hint of a problem.

    Unfortunately the Win2000 server is unusable and responds only to a ping. Even file sharing has stopped working. I cannot connect to it remotely, and no one can log in. Needless to say the users are somewhat peeved.

    I must be missing a trigger somewhere. Where do I look in the templates or user manual to set a trigger that reports when there is no new data from the "monitored" server?

    Any tips would be most welcome.

    You can try this trigger. I have it set to alert if no data is received for a period of 5 minutes. I have this applied at the template level for all my Windows hosts.

    {Template_Windows:agent.ping.nodata(300)}=1
