Monitored web hosts availability

I have searched the forums for this topic and have not uncovered the answer. I would like to know if the availability icon should be green and/or red and not unknown for hosts that are created thru the WEB functionality? In other words, if I want to monitor certain websites by creating scenarios, is it possible to have the Z icon under the Availability column for the Configuration->Hosts page show either as green or red? I have created simple scenarios for several websites and the scenario is producing correct data and email notification works when the scenario fails. I am using a fairly vanilla setup of Zabbix server 1.8.4.

the "Z" icon is only depicting zabbix agent check status (in a similar way as snmp and ipmi icons only depict status of those protocols)
