    Zabbix on Nokia IP300

    Hi There,

I own two old Nokia IP330 firewalls. One has PFSense running on it, serving as my firewall. On the second one I want to install the zabbix disk image to monitor my two servers, my switch, my wireless access point and my firewall.

I installed pf-sense on the IP330 using a host computer to install it on the disk. Then I placed the disk into the IP330 to run. Can this be done with the Zabbix USB stick / hard disk image? If yes, how can I do that? By using the dd command? I could not find anything in documentation or on the forums that point in that direction.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Erik

    Hi,

Yesterday I tried to install the Zabbix Appliance disk image to the HD in my IP330. I used a host computer to write the disk image on the harddisk. I Used the command 'dd if=/root/zabbix_x86.i686-1.8.4.oem of=/dev/sdc conv=notrunc, noerror'. It seemed that the image was succesfully written to the HD. When I put the HD into the IP300 and try to boot it, I got GRUB error 18.

    Code:
18 : "Invalid or unsupported executable format"
This error is returned if the kernel image boing loaded is not recognized as Multiboot or one of the supported native formats (Linux zImage or bzImage, FreeBSD, or NetBSD).
pfSense and Smoothwall have been succesfully installed on the machine. Anyone else got this error while trying to install the appliance?

EDIT: Tried it on two different HD's, same error. Did I use the right command to write the image on disk? Could not find appliance install instructions in documentation or on the website.

    Erik
