Autodiscovery name

I have autodiscovery for some ip's. All work fine, but new hosts are adding with name, that's was resolved for host's ip address. I want to see name in zabbix = Host name. Is it possible?

Yeah. I'm pretty sure this is where you're at, unless you use some other method (API?) to add hosts.

Same issue on 1.8.4 - I created Discovery Rule, selected Device uniqueness criteria as SNMPv2 agent ".1.3.6.1.2.1.1.6.0" (this is snmp system location OID) and thought that auto discovery mechanism will name each discovered host by result of this snmpget, but I see only IP addresses in list of discovered hosts, which is really sad.
Solution to use API maybe used, but it's some kind of crutch I'm seek of it when used nagios
Maybe it's possible to create some Action, which will use macros {HOSTNAME} and change it to "snmpget..."?
Does anybody know if it'll be fixed in next release(s)?
