Zabbix server SMTP problem

Hi,

I get almost every day at 00:07 o'clock message:
Email (SMTP) server is down on Zabbix server: PROBLEM

and in one minute it is OK again.

What could be the problem?

The problem still occurs

Logs? SMTP program?

What is the SMTP daemon that is running on the Zabbix server? Is there any information in the logs for that daemon or in the system logs?

Another place to check would be the Zabbix server or agent logs to see if there are any errors in those places around the time the alert goes off.

Are there are any cron jobs that run around that time that cause the SMTP daemon to be stopped for a short amount of time or affect it in some other way?

Unfortunately, without more information than you've given there isn't a way to know how to fix the problem.
