Backup Zabbix-config

how can i save my zabbix-configuration? also triggers, alerts, etc..
is that all in the Database? must i save the sql-database?

Yes is all saved in database. Just backup database - thats all.
However you have to save agent.conf files on clients as well if they contain custom scripts, and these custom scripts too of course.

If you have zabbix running on a virtual machine you can also make a snapshot of the machine.
