What is Zabbix performance as a central logging server vs Rsyslog

    Hi

Has anyone set-up zabbix as central logging server for Linux and windows - like Rsyslog or syslog-ng.

The benefit is - that Zabbix can monitor the logs, which is great - but how does it cope with the logging load?

Has this been discussed before or else where?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Steven

Zabbix can not act as a logging server like those you mentioned. It can parse existing log files and perform actions.
