I want to configure an action I've created with a media. Besides the default medias I have also created a script to test calls to scripts.
However, when I create the action the "Edit Operation" dialogue tells me that I have no medias defined. Therefore I cannot send any alerts.
Also, it is most likely that alerts will be sent to remote systems. However, the action config gui seems to presume that alerts will be sent to users or groups configured locally in zabbix.
This makes me wonder whether I should use the operation type of "Remote command". But when I select that option the dialogue that appears is not intuitive, other than saying "Remote command" tothe side of the window for text input. Can scripts be called from here? I suspect not.
If someone can clarify how actions should be configured to achieve what I'm trying to do I'll appreciate it.
