Zabbix monitoring a plus of 10 company

Hi, i have a question about zabbix, i need monitoring a some services that running in my clients, and i nees choice the best practice for this, i think put zabbix in each one of my clients and use one in my company to collect this information, my question is... this is possible, if not the best solutions is make a VPN connection between us, e use the zabbix like a one big network ?

Just my humble opinion, but do you want to trouble yourself with managing VPNs between your home office and all these clients? You will incur extra admin overhead for yourself/company managing those.

Are you an outsourced support technician? If you are, you will have to make sure to properly setup your VPNs for security if you go that route. I used to be a fan of always on VPNs to customer accounts but I can argue as many cons now as I can pros.

Perhaps it would be easiest to deploy a standardized VM (ESXi and Xen are showing up everywhere) in each account and leave them independent? You could use customer firewalls to lock down inbound web access from your static IP.

Perhaps others will have different opinions for you to choose from.
