Upgrading from 1.8.5 to 1.9.3

Hi,

I was wondering what the steps would be to migrating from 1.8.5 to 1.9.3,
is there a document which describes the steps for this process?

Did anything change database wise? is there any converting involved?

I've updated my zabbix instance from 1.8 to 1.9.
All works fine. Database migration scripts are available in zabbix distribution.

I have been reading the documents, but I only see "Upgrade Notes". but there
is no procedure described here. Am I missing something here?

If you migrate to 1.9.x you will want to pay attention to the DB changes. Zalex and Richlv try to keep up on them, but 1.9.x is for development purposes and thus is not recommended for production. In addition it is possible you may need to figure out the patch on your own for 1.9.x to 2.0. :-)
