Graphs

Hello everybody

I just beginning news work in IT company and i need to put zabbix.
Installation it's ok, i created my user but i have problem for graphs fonction.
I create host group, then application then items, but when i want to make news graphs, i can't select item the list is empty.
If someone can help me is great because i lost lot of time with this problem.

Welcome to the Zabbix forums!

Graphs can be made on templates or hosts. As you are working with just hosts at this moment i will show the path for this.

When you are logged into Zabbix go to 'configuration > hosts'. You should see an overview with all your hosts. You will also see the colomn 'graphs' and a clickable text "Graphs (0)". Click it and you will get into the graphs section.

Top right you click "Create Graph" and you get into the properties of your new graphs setup. One of the last options is 'Items: Add'. Click it and you will get a new screen where you can add items to a graph, give them color and assign them to a Axis.

This should be enough information to get you going and create your fancy graphs in Zabbix.

Note: You need to have items configured on the hosts you want to make graphs on of course.

i was choos items and colors for make graph, but i have message no data. So nothing in my graph. I try with simple elements just ping but nothing. My client agent zabbix run in log file no error but nothings on the screen. If you have an idea i will try .

go for 'Monitoring > Latest Data' and see if you have data incoming. If not then check your setup first.

i seeing in monitoring but data incoming is empty, you know where can i have make mistake??

If there is no data incoming then you should check your items on the hosts, check logfiles, etc.

Make sure your Zabbix environment is working before you go create graphs. Graphs is the end product when you have your data collection working.

Zabbix problem

Hi,

i was check my configuration, i have some server with data and other without. So i was compared configuration files, process and log. And i see only one problem.
With the server without data income, when i'm in
monitoring ->Triggers i have "Replication NOT OK on @server" for host, status it's ok,

Have you have idea for resolve this problem ?

Latest data

I have another question, i trying to see the latest data. But i don't have all equipments in my groups. I have one group call server when i'm going in configuration --> Host groups : i have all servers. But when i'm in monitoring --> Latest data 2 servers disapears. On my server zabbix agent and proxy working.
Zabbix agent log file say
12328:20110503:160930.981 zabbix_agentd active check started [10.201.1.254:1005
zabbix proxy no erreur just check and everything its ok.
I had comparate my setting file with my other server and is the same. If someone can help me is so kind.
