Monitor Shoutcast

Hi,

i would like to monitor my radiostation shoutcastserver (listener, unique listener, listentime, peaklistener and so on)
All those Data are provided in a xml file. Well it wont be a problem to get the Data with a php-script, but at the moment i dont have any idea how to get the data into zabbix. Any hints would be aprecciated.

Maybe theres any way to let snmp read the data from php-script and add it to custom OIDs

Hey mad,

its pretty easily done.

Create Zabbix trappers with the proper keys like shoutcast.listeners, shoutcast.peak, etc
Send data to the zabbix server with zabbix sender and you got your info in zabbix

Same deal, different data. If you can parse the data with a php script you can also sent it directly to the zabbix server from there.

example cmdline:

zabbix_sender -z <zabbixserver> -s "<yourhostnameinzabbix>" -k shoutcast.listeners -o <yourvalue>
