SNMP: OID value has unknown type

    Hi everyone,
I have a little problem, I have created an item that uses an agent SNMPv2.

But after that, I have an error:

I don't understand because if I put the OID in the numeric form (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0), it works!

And, as you can see, I have donwload the MIB and It also works with the snmpget command line:

I would like to understand because It works with this numeric notation.
Sorry for all these pictures but I think you could better help me.
    Thank

Are your system MIBS in a default location or is it customized? My own install defaults to /usr/share/snmp/mibs/

Zabbix may not look in a directory that is non-standard. I'm just throwing out a guess here, though.

Jumping on the bandwagon and having a stab in the dark

Have you tried using "sysDescr.0", without prefixing it with "SNMPv2-MIB::"?

I found a solution and this is the simplest: I restarted the deamon zabbix-server. I didn't know that after adding MIB in my directory, I had to restart it.
        Thanks nevertheless

Yeah. Sorry for not thinking about that. That is absolutely necessary when MIBS are added.
