Problems Adding Media Type

Hi,
I'm using 1.8.5 stable and have configured a new script media type. However, I cannot add it to the Admin user (the only user account). When I select Add media in the user config gui, configure the media type and select "Add", nothing happens.

I've checked zabbix_server.log and nothing is logged as I perform this action. I've also tried doing this in both Firefox and IE and the behaviour is the same.

Can someone help me to understand what is, or isn't, happening when I try to commit this change?

hmm. tried both using user properties & profile, both worked just fine.

could you please post specific steps ? also, check webserver's logfile (zabbix server's logfile has nothing to do with this, it will never contain relevant information for cases like this)

Hi,
A web service restart on Friday cleared the problem. But, I don't see anything particularly pointing to this issue in the logs.

However, I'll monitor it going forward in case it recurrs.
